Pocharam Srinivas Reddy is an Indian politician. He is with Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). He is an Member of the Legislative Assembly from Banswada constituency. He is the first Minister for Agriculture in Telangana State.〔(I voted for TRS, says Pocharam | Deccan Chronicle )〕 ==Career== Pocharam Srinivas Reddy joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1984 from the Indian National Congress (INC).〔(TDP legislator quits over Telangana issue )〕 He worked as a minister twice in TDP government. He was with TDP for 27 years before quitting.〔(TDP MLA to resign Nizamabad: Telugu - Times Of India )〕 In 1994, he contested the Banswada constituency as a TDP candidate and won with a majority of over 57,000 votes majority. He lost in 2004 against Bajireddy Govardhan, the INC candidate.
